About
Built by one person who kept booking cheap rooms and kept scrolling reviews at midnight trying to work out which ones were actually clean.
The problem
If you book at the budget end, price is not your real worry — hygiene is. And the one number every booking site shows you is useless for that, because it blends everything together. An 8.2 tells you nothing about whether three people reported bed bugs last month.
So you do what everyone does: open the reviews and read until you feel better or give up. Research puts that at roughly ten reviews per booking. It is a lot of work to answer one question.
Who this is for
People staying weeks rather than nights. Remote workers, people between homes, anyone trying a city before signing a lease, and travellers who would happily take a cheap room if they could be confident it was clean.
There is a real gap here. Hostel booking sites assume you will share a room. Serviced apartment platforms start at thirty nights and corporate prices. Agoda’s own long-stay product also starts at thirty nights. If you want two or three weeks in a private room with your own bathroom, nothing is built for you.
What we will not do
- Invent prices, ratings or reviews. Everything shown is real or not shown at all.
- Let commission change a verdict. The engine cannot see who pays us.
- Scare you into a more expensive room. Most properties pass, and we say so.
- Publish a hygiene claim without the reviewer’s own words beside it.
How it pays for itself
When you tap through and book, we may earn a commission from the booking site. You pay nothing extra. It has no effect on what we flag — the review analysis runs before any link is built, and has no knowledge of commercial terms.
